Description

This Prosciutto and Honey Burrata Pizza is the ultimate sweet-and-savory delight. A crisp golden crust topped with creamy burrata, salty prosciutto, and a drizzle of honey — perfect for pizza night, date night, or any night you crave something special.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 ball pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)

  • 12 tbsp olive oil

  • 8 oz burrata cheese

  • 34 oz thinly sliced prosciutto

  • 12 tbsp honey (preferably wildflower or orange blossom)

  • Fresh basil leaves, for garnish

  • Sea salt and cracked black pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or heat a pizza stone.

  2. Prepare the Dough: Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface to your desired thickness and place it on your baking sheet or stone.

  3. Brush the Crust: Brush the edges with olive oil for that golden, crisp texture.

  4. Bake the Base: Bake for 8–10 minutes, until the crust begins to set but isn’t browned.

  5. Add Toppings: Remove from the oven and tear burrata into chunks, placing evenly across the crust. Add slices of prosciutto over the cheese.

  6. Finish with Honey & Basil: Drizzle honey generously over the pizza and top with fresh basil leaves. Season with sea salt and black pepper.

  7. Optional Second Bake: Return to the oven for 2–3 minutes if you prefer warm, slightly melted burrata.

  8. Serve & Enjoy: Slice, serve immediately, and enjoy the perfect blend of sweet, salty, and creamy flavors!

Notes

Use high-quality honey for the best flavor — wildflower, acacia, or orange blossom varieties pair beautifully.
For a little kick, drizzle with hot honey instead.
Add a handful of arugula after baking for a peppery finish.
This pizza pairs wonderfully with a light white wine or sparkling rosé.
