Description

Juicy, pan-seared beef patties mixed with feta and herbs, then smothered in a rich, creamy tomato-feta sauce. These Keto Feta Burgers With Tomato Cream Sauce are low-carb, high-protein, and ready in just 35 minutes—perfect for a satisfying keto-friendly dinner.

Ingredients

Scale

For the Burgers:

  • 1 lb ground beef (80/20 recommended)

  • 1/2 cup crumbled feta cheese

  • 1 large egg

  • 1/4 cup finely chopped onion

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 tsp dried oregano

  • 1/2 tsp salt

  • 1/2 tsp black pepper

  • 1 tbsp olive oil (for cooking)

For the Tomato Cream Sauce:

  • 1 cup heavy cream

  • 1/2 cup tomato paste

  • 1/3 cup crumbled feta cheese

  • 1 clove garlic, minced

  • 1 tsp smoked paprika (divided)

  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, finely chopped

  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, feta, egg, onion, garlic, oregano, salt, and pepper. Mix gently until just combined.

  2. Divide into 4 equal portions and shape into thick patties.

  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook patties 4–5 minutes per side until browned and cooked to desired doneness. Remove and set aside.

  4. Reduce heat to medium. Add garlic and sauté for 30 seconds. Stir in tomato paste and cook for 1 minute, scraping up browned bits.

  5. Slowly add heavy cream while stirring. Add feta, 1/2 tsp smoked paprika, and parsley. Simmer 3–5 minutes until slightly thickened. Season with salt and pepper.

  6. Return patties to skillet. Spoon sauce over burgers and simmer 1–2 minutes.

  7. Garnish with extra feta, parsley, and remaining smoked paprika. Serve hot.

Notes

Do not overmix the beef to keep burgers tender.

If sauce thickens too much, add a splash of cream or water.

Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 4 days.

Great served with steamed broccoli, zucchini noodles, or a keto salad.
