Description

Sweet, sticky Honey BBQ Chicken With Garlic Parmesan Potatoes in this comforting, flavor-packed dinner. Easy to make and perfect for busy weeknights or special family meals!

Ingredients

Scale

For the Chicken:

  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts (or thighs)

  • 1/4 cup honey

  • 1/2 cup BBQ sauce (your favorite brand or homemade)

  • 1 tbsp olive oil

  • Salt and pepper to taste

For the Garlic Parmesan Potatoes:

  • 2 lbs Yukon Gold potatoes, diced evenly

  • 2 tbsp butter

  • 4 garlic cloves, minced

  • 1/2 cup heavy cream

  • 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F and line a baking sheet with foil.

  2. Mix the glaze: In a bowl, combine honey, BBQ sauce, olive oil, salt, and pepper.

  3. Coat the chicken thoroughly in the glaze and place it on the prepared baking sheet.

  4. Bake chicken for 25–30 minutes. Broil for the last 2–3 minutes for caramelized edges.

  5. Boil potatoes until fork-tender (about 10–12 minutes), then drain thoroughly.

  6. Make sauce: In a skillet, melt butter, sauté garlic, then stir in cream and Parmesan. Simmer until smooth.

  7. Toss potatoes into the sauce and stir gently to coat. Season to taste.

  8. Serve: Plate potatoes, top with sliced BBQ chicken, and garnish with fresh parsley.

Notes

Raw honey gives a deeper flavor but any honey works.
Freshly grated Parmesan makes a big difference—avoid the pre-grated stuff!
Try boneless chicken thighs for a juicier result.
For extra wow factor, use smoked paprika in your glaze mix.
