Description
Cinnamon Sugar Baked Peaches are the easiest cozy dessert—warm, tender peaches baked with buttery brown sugar and spices, then topped with vanilla ice cream.
Ingredients
Scale
- 4 large fresh peaches (ripe but firm), halved and pitted
- 4 small pieces unsalted butter (about 1 teaspoon each)
- 3 tablespoons brown sugar (light or dark)
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- Pinch ground nutmeg
- Pinch ground cloves
- Pinch salt
- Vanilla ice cream, for serving
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F.
- Slice peaches in half and remove pits. Place peach halves cut-side up on a baking sheet or in a baking dish.
- Add a small piece of butter in the center of each peach half.
- In a small bowl, mix brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, and salt. Sprinkle evenly over peaches.
- Bake 8–12 minutes, until peaches are tender and golden with bubbly juices.
- Serve warm topped with vanilla ice cream.
Notes
- Firmer peaches need closer to 12 minutes; very ripe peaches cook faster—start checking at 8 minutes.
- Don’t skip the pinch of salt—it makes the flavors pop.
- Want extra sparkle? Add a tiny drizzle of honey or caramel right before serving.
