Instructions

Warm each candy coating in separate bowls according to package directions. Heat gently to avoid thickening. If chocolate becomes too thick, stir in 2 teaspoons of vegetable shortening. Do not add water. -
Dip the Pretzels:
Hold a pretzel rod and spoon melted chocolate over the top two-thirds. Shake lightly to remove excess. Add sprinkles immediately, rotating the pretzel so the toppings stick on all sides. Larger sprinkles may need to be placed individually. -
Let Them Rest:
Lay dipped pretzel rods on waxed paper or a cooling rack. Waxed paper works best for easy release. -
Add Decorative Drizzles:
Once the first layer has fully set, drizzle additional colors using a fork or spoon. Transfer the pretzels to clean waxed paper before the drizzle dries to keep lines tidy. -
Dry & Store:
Allow pretzel rods to dry completely. Store in an airtight container at room temperature. Avoid refrigeration to keep them crisp.
