Description

This Baked Boursin Salmon is a creamy, cheesy, and quick weeknight dinner that feels fancy but comes together in just 30 minutes. Loaded with garlic herb flavor and finished with a squeeze of lemon, it’s an effortless dish you’ll come back to again and again.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 salmon fillets (6 oz each)

  • 1 (5.2 oz) package of Boursin Garlic & Fine Herbs cheese

  • 1 tbsp olive oil

  • 1 garlic clove, minced

  • Zest and juice of ½ a lemon

  • Salt and black pepper, to taste

  • 1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)

  • Cherry tomatoes or asparagus (optional, for baking alongside)

Optional Substitutions & Additions

  • Try Boursin Shallot & Chive or Cracked Black Pepper flavor.

  • Use cream cheese mixed with herbs if Boursin isn’t available.

  • Add zucchini, bell peppers, or spinach to roast alongside.

  • Substitute cod or trout for salmon.

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Lightly oil a baking dish or line with parchment paper.

  2. Pat salmon fillets dry and place them skin-side down in the baking dish.

  3. Drizzle olive oil over the salmon. Sprinkle with salt, pepper, lemon zest, and minced garlic.

  4. Break up the Boursin cheese and place small dollops on top of each fillet.

  5. Bake for 15–18 minutes, until the salmon is opaque and flakes easily with a fork.

  6. Optional: Broil for the last 1–2 minutes to get a golden, cheesy top.

  7. Drizzle with lemon juice, sprinkle parsley on top, and serve immediately.
