Description
These Witch Hat Crescent Rolls are spooky, fun, and stuffed with gooey cheese and pepperoni. A quick Halloween party snack that both kids and adults will love!
Ingredients
-
1 can refrigerated crescent roll dough (or puff pastry sheets)
-
½ cup pizza sauce (or marinara sauce)
-
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
-
12–16 slices pepperoni (or your favorite pizza toppings)
-
1 tbsp melted butter (optional, for brushing)
-
½ tsp garlic powder (optional)
-
½ tsp dried Italian herbs (optional)
Instructions
-
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
-
Unroll the crescent dough and cut into long triangles.
-
Roll each triangle into a cone shape, curling the tip slightly to resemble a witch hat.
-
Spoon a little pizza sauce into the base of each cone.
-
Add shredded mozzarella and a slice of pepperoni.
-
Pinch the edges closed, leaving a little cheese or pepperoni peeking out.
-
Place on the baking sheet. Brush with melted butter and sprinkle with garlic powder and herbs, if using.
-
Bake for 12–15 minutes, until golden brown and puffed.
-
Let cool slightly before serving with extra pizza sauce for dipping.
Notes
Get creative with fillings—try mushrooms, olives, or even spinach for a vegetarian version.
Puff pastry works too for an extra flaky texture.
These can be assembled ahead of time and baked right before serving.
