Description

These White Cheddar and Spinach Chicken Burgers are juicy, cheesy, and loaded with fresh flavor. Made with ground chicken, sharp white cheddar, and a healthy dose of spinach, they’re a perfect weeknight dinner or meal prep favorite. Serve on toasted buns with your favorite toppings or bunless over a salad for a lighter twist!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground chicken

  • 1 cup fresh spinach, finely chopped

  • ½ cup shredded white cheddar cheese

  • ¼ cup breadcrumbs

  • ¼ cup finely chopped onion

  • 2 garlic cloves, minced

  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard

  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce

  • Salt and black pepper, to taste

  • Olive oil, for cooking

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine ground chicken, chopped spinach, shredded white cheddar, breadcrumbs, onion, garlic, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Mix until fully combined.

  2. Shape the mixture into 4 even patties. Press a small indentation in the center of each to help them cook evenly.

  3. Heat a drizzle of olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook the patties for about 5–6 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through (internal temp should reach 165°F).

  4. Toast your burger buns if desired, then assemble with your favorite toppings and sauces. Enjoy warm!

Notes

You can prep the patties ahead and store them in the fridge for up to 24 hours before cooking.
Make it gluten-free by using gluten-free breadcrumbs.
Don’t overcook the burgers—ground chicken can dry out quickly! Use a thermometer for best results.
Want to freeze? Wrap uncooked patties individually and freeze for up to 2 months.
