Description

These Viral Baked Dumplings from TikTok are the ultimate weeknight comfort food — frozen dumplings baked in a creamy coconut curry sauce and topped with chili crisp, sesame seeds, and fresh herbs. Easy, cozy, and full of flavor in under 30 minutes!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1420 frozen dumplings (any type: chicken, pork, or veggie)

  • 3 tablespoons red curry paste

  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce

  • 2 tablespoons sesame oil (or oil of choice)

  • 1 (14-ounce) can coconut milk

  • 2 teaspoons fresh ginger, minced

  • 2 garlic cloves, minced

  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar

  • 2 tablespoons honey (or maple syrup)

For garnish:

  • Cilantro, chopped

  • 2 green onions, sliced

  • 12 tablespoons chili crunch (or chili crisp)

  • Sesame seeds

  • Baby spinach (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a medium baking dish or oven-safe skillet.

  2. Whisk sauce: In a medium bowl, combine coconut milk, red curry paste, soy sauce, sesame oil, honey, rice vinegar, ginger, and garlic. Whisk until smooth. Taste and adjust seasonings.

  3. Assemble: Place frozen dumplings in a single layer in the prepared dish. Pour sauce evenly over the top, covering most of the dumplings.

  4. Bake covered: Cover the dish with foil and bake for 20 minutes.

  5. Finish baking: Uncover and bake another 5–10 minutes, until the sauce is bubbling and the dumplings are tender.

  6. Garnish: Top with baby spinach (optional), cilantro, green onions, sesame seeds, and chili crunch. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

Keep dumplings in a single layer for even cooking.

Adjust spice by increasing or decreasing the red curry paste.

For a thicker sauce, bake uncovered a few minutes longer.

Any frozen dumpling variety works—gyoza, potstickers, or wontons.

Store leftovers in the fridge up to 3 days. Reheat in oven or microwave
