Description

These juicy, flavorful chicken burgers come together in just 30 minutes and are packed with fresh herbs, creamy mayo, and delicious seasoning. The Best Chicken Burgers are perfect for quick weeknight dinners or backyard cookouts the whole family will love!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound ground chicken

  • ½ cup Italian breadcrumbs

  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise

  • 2 tablespoons minced onions

  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped

  • 1 garlic clove, minced

  • ½ teaspoon paprika

  • ½ teaspoon salt

  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper

  • 1 tablespoon avocado oil (for cooking)

  • Hamburger buns, for serving

  • Lettuce, tomato, and red onion, for serving

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, combine ground chicken, breadcrumbs, mayonnaise, onions, parsley, garlic, paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix gently with your hands until just combined—don’t overmix.

  2. Divide the mixture into 4 equal parts and shape into ¾-inch thick patties. Press a thumbprint in the center of each patty.

  3. Preheat a large non-stick skillet or grill pan over medium heat. Add avocado oil to coat the bottom.

  4. Once the pan is hot, cook patties for 5–6 minutes on the first side, until golden brown. Flip and cook another 5–6 minutes.

  5. Check internal temperature with a meat thermometer—it should read 165°F. Reduce heat and continue cooking if needed.

  6. Serve on buns with lettuce, tomato, red onion, and your favorite toppings.

Notes

Don’t overmix the chicken mixture—gentle hands = juicy burgers!
The thumbprint trick helps them cook evenly and prevents puffing.
These patties can be made ahead and stored in the fridge for up to 24 hours or frozen for later.
Great with melted cheese or a spicy mayo drizzle.
