  • 1 cup water

  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 cup long-grain white rice

Instructions

  1. Prepare Ingredients : Gather all ingredients and chop vegetables into small pieces.
  2. Sear Chicken : Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken and sear until golden brown on both sides. Remove and set aside.
  3. Create Gravy Base : In the same pan, sauté onions, bell peppers, and celery until soft. Add garlic and cook for 1 minute. Sprinkle flour and stir well.
  4. Simmer Chicken : Gradually add chicken broth and water, stirring constantly. Return chicken to the pan, cover, and simmer for 30-40 minutes.
