Description

These Smash Chicken Caesar Tacos are a crispy, creamy twist on taco night! Juicy ground chicken is smashed onto tortillas and pan-crisped to golden perfection, then topped with romaine, Caesar dressing, crispy bacon bits, and shaved parmesan. Quick, satisfying, and full of flavor—perfect for busy weeknights or fun family meals!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground chicken

  • 6 small flour tortillas

  • 1 tsp garlic powder

  • ½ tsp black pepper

  • Pinch of salt

  • 12 tbsp olive oil or butter (for cooking)

  • 1 cup chopped romaine lettuce

  • ½ cup Caesar dressing

  • ¼ cup shredded or shaved parmesan cheese

  • ¼ cup crispy bacon bits

  • Optional toppings: lemon zest, crispy onions, extra dressing, drizzle of olive oil

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, mix ground chicken with garlic powder, black pepper, and a pinch of salt.

  2. Spread a thin, even layer of seasoned ground chicken on the back of each tortilla, pressing it down gently.

  3. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat with olive oil or butter. Place the tortillas chicken-side down.

  4. Cook for 2–3 minutes or until the chicken is golden brown and fully cooked. Flip and toast the tortilla side for 1–2 more minutes.

  5. Remove from skillet and top each with chopped romaine, Caesar dressing, parmesan, and bacon bits.

  6. Fold and serve warm. Enjoy the crunch!

Notes

Don’t overload the tortillas with chicken—it crisps better with a thin layer.
To keep tacos warm and crisp, place finished ones on a baking sheet in a low oven while finishing the batch.
Want it extra zesty? A squeeze of lemon before serving takes it up a notch.
