Ingredients

3 boneless skinless chicken breasts

1 can (15 ounces) tomato sauce

1 bunch cilantro, chopped

1 lime, juiced

1 tablespoon chili powder

1 tablespoon cumin

½ teaspoon garlic salt

½ teaspoon salt

½ teaspoon pepper
Instructions

Place chicken breasts in the bottom of the slow cooker.

Sprinkle chili powder, cumin, garlic salt, salt, and pepper over the chicken.

Add chopped cilantro and lime juice on top.

Pour tomato sauce over everything.

Cover and cook on low for 6–8 hours or high for 3–4 hours, until the chicken is tender and shreds easily.

Shred the chicken with two forks and stir it back into the sauce.

Notes
Chicken thighs can be used for extra juiciness.
Add a chopped jalapeño if you want some heat.
