Ingredients
-
2 cups cream cheese, softened
-
2 cups shredded white cheddar cheese
-
1 teaspoon garlic powder
-
1 teaspoon onion powder
-
½ teaspoon black pepper
-
Black olives (for decoration – eyes, nose, and mouth)
Instructions
-
In a medium bowl, mix softened cream cheese and shredded white cheddar until smooth.
-
Stir in garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper until evenly combined.
-
Transfer mixture onto plastic wrap and shape into a ball.
-
Wrap tightly and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, until firm.
-
Once chilled, unwrap and place on a serving platter.
-
Slice black olives and use them to create Jack Skellington’s eyes, nose, and stitched smile.
-
Surround with crackers, veggies, or breadsticks for serving.
Notes
The longer you chill the cheese ball, the easier it is to decorate.
You can prepare this up to 24 hours in advance—just decorate before serving.
Sharp cheddar gives the best flavor, but you can swap in mozzarella or Monterey Jack for a milder taste.
