Description

This easy sheet pan sausage and sweet potatoes with honey garlic sauce is a one-pan dinner packed with sweet and savory flavor. It’s perfect for busy weeknights and picky eaters alike—loaded with roasted veggies, juicy sausage, and a rich honey garlic glaze.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 oz chicken or turkey sausage, sliced into ½-inch rounds

  • 2 medium sweet potatoes, peeled and cubed

  • 2 cups broccoli florets (fresh)

  • 1 tbsp unsalted butter (or olive oil for dairy-free)

  • 3 cloves garlic, minced

  • 3 tbsp honey (or maple syrup for vegan)

  • 2 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce (or coconut aminos)

  • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar

  • Salt and pepper, to taste

  • 1 tbsp fresh chopped parsley, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).

  2. Prep the ingredients: Slice sausage, cube sweet potatoes, and cut broccoli into small florets.

  3. Spread everything evenly on a large sheet pan.

  4. Make the sauce: In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt butter. Add garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant. Stir in honey, soy sauce, apple cider vinegar, salt, and pepper. Simmer 2–3 minutes.

  5. Toss it all together: Pour the honey garlic sauce over the sausage and vegetables. Toss well to coat.

  6. Roast in the oven for 25–30 minutes, stirring halfway through, until sweet potatoes are tender and sausage is browned.

  7. Garnish and serve with fresh parsley. Enjoy warm!

Notes

Want extra crispiness? Broil the last 2 minutes.
Feel free to swap in bell peppers, red onion, or zucchini.
Vegan version: use plant-based sausage and maple syrup.
