Ingredients
For the Chicken:
2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
½ cup all-purpose flour
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese (divided)
1 teaspoon garlic powder
½ teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon black pepper
2 large eggs, beaten
For the Creamy Garlic Sauce:
¼ cup unsalted butter
1 cup heavy cream
4 cloves garlic, minced
½ teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon black pepper
Optional: 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
Pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels.
In a shallow bowl, combine flour, half the Parmesan, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
In another bowl, beat the eggs.
Dip each chicken breast in the egg, then dredge in the flour-Parmesan mixture, pressing to coat.
Place coated chicken breasts on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
Bake for 20–25 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through.
While chicken bakes, melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat.
Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant (1–2 minutes).
Whisk in heavy cream, remaining Parmesan, salt, and pepper. Simmer 5–7 minutes until slightly thickened.
Drizzle sauce over baked chicken and garnish with chopped parsley, if using. Serve hot and enjoy!
Notes
For extra crispiness, place the chicken under the broiler for the last 2 minutes.
Try freshly grated Parmesan for the best melt and flavor.
