Ingredients
1 lb cooked chicken, shredded
1 lb Italian sausage, casings removed
12 oz penne or rotini pasta
3 cups chicken broth
1 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup buffalo sauce
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 cup cream cheese
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp garlic powder
Salt and pepper to taste
Chopped green onions (for garnish)
Instructions
Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add the sausage, breaking it apart, and cook until browned.
Add shredded chicken, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Stir to combine.
Pour in the chicken broth, buffalo sauce, heavy cream, and dry pasta. Stir and bring to a light boil.
Reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 12–15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until pasta is tender.
Stir in cream cheese and cheddar cheese until melted and sauce is creamy.
Garnish with chopped green onions and serve hot.
