Description
A creamy and flavorful One Pan Chicken with Buttered Noodles made with juicy chicken breasts, buttery egg noodles, garlic, and Parmesan. The perfect weeknight dinner ready in about 30 minutes!
Ingredients
2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
Salt, pepper, and garlic powder (to taste)
2 tbsp olive oil
3 tbsp butter (divided)
3 cloves garlic, minced
3 cups chicken broth
8 oz egg noodles
½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
Prep the Chicken: Season chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
Cook the Chicken: Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook chicken for 5–7 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
Sauté Garlic: In the same skillet, add 1 tbsp butter and minced garlic. Cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
Cook Noodles: Pour in chicken broth and bring to a simmer. Add egg noodles and cook, stirring occasionally, until tender and coated in broth.
Make It Creamy: Stir in remaining butter and Parmesan until noodles are creamy.
Finish the Dish: Return chicken to skillet, nestling it among the noodles. Cook for 2–3 minutes to blend flavors.
Serve: Garnish with parsley and enjoy!
Notes
Use chicken thighs instead of breasts for a juicier option.
Add veggies like spinach or peas at the end of cooking for extra color and nutrition.
Leftovers store well for up to 3 days in an airtight container.
