Description

These Million Dollar Bacon Deviled Eggs are rich, creamy, smoky, and loaded with crispy bacon. Perfect for parties, holidays, game days, or anytime you need an impressive but easy appetizer everyone loves.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 6 large eggs

  • 4 strips thick-cut bacon, cooked and crumbled

  • 3 tablespoons mayonnaise

  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard

  • 1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar

  • 1/2 teaspoon sugar

  • Pinch of salt

  • Pinch of black pepper

  • Smoked paprika, for garnish

  • Fresh chives, chopped (optional)

Instructions

  1. Place the eggs in a single layer in a saucepan.

  2. Cover with cold water by 1 inch and bring to a rolling boil over high heat.

  3. Once boiling, remove the pan from the heat and cover. Let stand for 10–12 minutes.

  4. Drain the water and transfer the eggs to an ice bath for 5 minutes.

  5. Peel the cooled eggs carefully.

  6. Slice the eggs in half lengthwise.

  7. Scoop out the yolks and place them into a bowl. Arrange the egg whites on a platter.

  8. Mash the yolks with a fork until smooth.

  9. Add mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, and apple cider vinegar.

  10. Stir in sugar, salt, and pepper until creamy.

  11. Fold in most of the crumbled bacon, reserving some for garnish.

  12. Spoon or pipe the yolk mixture back into the egg white halves.

  13. Garnish with remaining bacon, smoked paprika, and chives.

  14. Chill for at least 30 minutes before serving.

Notes

Older eggs peel more easily than fresh eggs.

Chilling enhances the flavor, so this is a great make-ahead recipe.

Add a dash of hot sauce to the filling for extra kick!
