Description

Juicy, cheesy, and packed with flavor, this easy Longhorn Steakhouse Parmesan Crusted Chicken is the perfect family-friendly dinner you can make at home

Ingredients

Scale

Chicken Marinade:

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice

  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

  • 1 teaspoon onion powder

  • 1 teaspoon paprika

  • 1 teaspoon salt

  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Parmesan Crust:

  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated

  • 1/4 cup Provolone cheese, shredded

  • 1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs

  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted

  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise

  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

Instructions

  1. Marinate the Chicken: In a bowl, whisk together olive oil, lemon juice, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Add chicken breasts and marinate for at least 30 minutes (up to 4 hours for best flavor).

  2. Grill the Chicken: Preheat grill or grill pan to medium-high heat. Grill chicken 5–6 minutes per side until internal temperature reaches 165°F. Transfer to a foil-lined baking sheet.

  3. Make the Parmesan Crust: Mix Parmesan, Provolone, panko breadcrumbs, melted butter, mayonnaise, Italian seasoning, and garlic powder in a bowl to form a thick paste.

  4. Top the Chicken: Spread the Parmesan crust mixture evenly on each chicken breast, pressing lightly to adhere.

  5. Bake and Broil: Bake at 400°F for 5–7 minutes until cheese melts and browns. Broil for an additional 1–2 minutes for a crispier top if desired.

Notes

Marinate longer for more flavor.
Use a cast iron skillet if you don’t have a grill.
Mozzarella can substitute for provolone if needed.
Watch closely while broiling to prevent burning.
