Description

Cheesy, low-carb, and packed with savory flavor, these Keto Philly Cheesesteak Rolls are a quick and comforting weeknight dinner you’ll actually crave. With tender ground beef, sautéed veggies, and melty Monterey Jack cheese as the “wrap,” they’re the perfect guilt-free take on a classic favorite.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups Monterey Jack cheese, shredded

  • 16 ounces ground beef

  • 1/2 medium onion, thinly sliced

  • 1 bell pepper, thinly sliced (any color)

  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce

  • 4 ounces cream cheese

  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup and no sticking.

  2. Cook the ground beef mixture.
In a skillet over medium-high heat, add ground beef and break it apart. Once it begins browning, add sliced onions and bell peppers. Cook for 5–7 minutes until the beef is fully cooked and vegetables are softened. Drain excess grease.

  3. Add flavor and creaminess.
Return skillet to medium heat. Stir in Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Add cream cheese and mix until melted and well combined. Remove from heat and set aside.

  4. Make the cheese “tortillas.”
On the lined baking sheet, make 8 circles using 1/4 cup of shredded cheese per circle. Space them 2 inches apart. Bake for 8–10 minutes until golden around the edges and lacy.

  5. Assemble the rolls.
Let cheese circles cool for 1 minute—just enough to be pliable. Add 2 tablespoons of the beef mixture to each. Roll gently and let cool another 2–3 minutes to hold shape.

Notes

Work fast when rolling! The cheese firms up quickly once out of the oven.
Make ahead tip: The beef mixture can be prepped up to 3 days in advance.
Want extra flavor? Add mushrooms or jalapeños for a spicy twist.
Don’t worry if a few rolls crack slightly—they still taste amazing!
