Description

Jalapeno Popper Pigs in a Blanket are the ultimate party appetizer—spicy jalapenos stuffed with cream cheese, cheddar, and bacon, wrapped with Little Smokies in golden crescent roll dough. Perfect for game day, holidays, or anytime you need an irresistible bite-sized snack.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 package Little Smokies

  • 1 can Pillsbury Crescent Rounds (or crescent roll dough)

  • 4 fresh jalapeno peppers

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened

  • 1 cup sharp cheddar cheese, shredded

  • 4 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled

  • ½ tsp Slap Ya Mama seasoning (or Cajun seasoning)

  • ½ tsp garlic salt

  • ¼ tsp black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  2. Slice stems off jalapenos, cut in half lengthwise, remove seeds and membrane, then cut each half into quarters (4 pieces per pepper).

  3. Place jalapeno pieces on baking sheet and roast for 15 minutes. Remove and let cool slightly.

  4. In a medium bowl, beat cream cheese until fluffy. Stir in cheddar, bacon, garlic salt, pepper, and Slap Ya Mama seasoning.

  5. Fill each roasted jalapeno piece with cheese mixture. Place a Little Smokie on top.

  6. Cut crescent roll dough into strips and wrap each jalapeno Smokie. Pinch seams to seal.

  7. Place wrapped bites on baking sheet and bake for 18–20 minutes, or until golden brown.

  8. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

  • Wear gloves when prepping jalapenos to avoid irritation.
Swap cheddar with Pepper Jack or mozzarella for a different flavor.
Best served fresh, but leftovers can be reheated at 350°F for 5–7 minutes.
Air fryer method: cook at 370°F for 6–8 minutes until golden.
