Jalapeno Peach Chicken Skewers are sweet, spicy, and irresistibly juicy. Tender chicken, fresh peaches, and jalapeños are air-fried to perfection and brushed with a glossy peach glaze. Perfect for quick weeknight dinners, summer gatherings, or when you want big flavor with minimal effort.

- 15 wooden skewers, soaked in water for 30 minutes
Chicken
- 2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1-inch cubes
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- ½ teaspoon chili powder
- 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
Skewer Add-Ins
- 4 yellow peaches, quartered then halved (about 32 pieces)
- 3 medium jalapeño peppers, halved, seeded, cut into chunks
Peach Glaze
- ½ cup peach preserves
- 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
- 1 teaspoon soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar
- 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
- ½ teaspoon garlic, minced
- ½ teaspoon kosher salt
- ⅛ teaspoon black pepper
- ⅛ teaspoon red pepper flakes
Instructions
- Soak wooden skewers in water for at least 30 minutes.
- In a large bowl, toss chicken with salt, pepper, chili powder, and olive oil until evenly coated.
- Assemble skewers by threading peach, chicken, jalapeño, chicken, jalapeño, chicken, and peach. Repeat until ingredients are used.
- Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- Lightly brush skewers with olive oil to prevent sticking.
- Place skewers in a single layer in the air fryer basket (work in batches if needed).
- Air fry for 11–12 minutes, or until chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F.
- While skewers cook, combine all glaze ingredients in a saucepan over medium heat. Stir until smooth and warmed through.
- Brush cooked skewers generously with warm peach glaze.
- Serve immediately and enjoy.
Notes
- For less heat, remove all jalapeño seeds and membranes.
- For extra spice, leave some seeds or increase red pepper flakes.
- Chicken thighs can be substituted for chicken breasts.
- These skewers can also be grilled over medium heat until chicken reaches 165°F.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
