Description

This Herb Crusted Baked Boursin Chicken is crispy on the outside, creamy on the inside, and loaded with fresh herbs, golden panko, and irresistible melted Boursin cheese. A simple yet elegant dinner that feels gourmet with every bite.

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

  • 1 package (5.2 oz) Boursin cheese (Garlic & Fine Herbs or any preferred flavor)

  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs

  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, finely chopped

  • 1 tablespoon fresh thyme, chopped

  • 1 tablespoon fresh rosemary, chopped

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

  • 1 teaspoon onion powder

  • ½ teaspoon salt

  • ½ teaspoon black pepper

  • 3 tablespoons melted butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a baking dish.

  2. In a shallow bowl, mix panko, Parmesan, parsley, thyme, rosemary, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.

  3. Cut a small pocket into each chicken breast, being careful not to slice through.

  4. Stuff each pocket with 1–2 tablespoons of Boursin, pressing gently to secure.

  5. Use a toothpick to close the opening if needed.

  6. Brush the chicken with olive oil, then press into the breadcrumb mixture to coat fully.

  7. Place the chicken in the baking dish and drizzle melted butter over the top.

  8. Bake for 30–35 minutes, until the crust is golden and the chicken reaches 165°F (74°C).

  9. Rest a few minutes, remove toothpicks, and serve warm.

Notes

  • Make sure the Boursin is cold before stuffing for easier handling.

  • Add a squeeze of lemon for a bright finishing touch.

  • Pairs perfectly with roasted vegetables, mashed potatoes, or a light salad.
