Olive oil (use a good quality finishing oil)

Balsamic glaze

Flaky sea salt
-
Freshly cracked black pepper

½ lemon (optional)

Remove from oven and press gently with the back of a spoon to fill mold details.

Chill in the fridge for 10–15 minutes, then carefully pop out the mozzarella skulls.
-
Assemble the salad: In a large bowl, toss greens with olive oil and lemon juice (optional).
-
Top with cherry tomatoes, mozzarella skulls, and basil.
-
Finish with more olive oil, balsamic glaze, flaky sea salt, and cracked pepper.
-
Serve immediately and enjoy your frightfully fresh creation!
Notes
Make Ahead: Mozzarella skulls can be made up to 2 days in advance and stored in the fridge.
No skull molds? Try fun Halloween shapes like pumpkins or ghosts!
Add crunch: Sprinkle toasted pumpkin seeds or crispy bacon bits for extra flavor.
Imperfect skulls still taste perfect — embrace the spooky charm!
