Description
This Garlic Parmesan Grilled Chicken is juicy, zesty, and packed with bold garlic and cheesy flavor. Perfect for busy weeknights or summer cookouts, it’s an easy recipe that delivers big taste with minimal effort!
Ingredients
Boneless, skinless chicken breasts or thighs
1/4 cup olive oil
4 cloves garlic, minced
1/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
Salt and pepper, to taste
Optional: chopped fresh parsley and extra Parmesan for garnish
Instructions
In a bowl or zip-top bag, whisk together olive oil, garlic, Parmesan cheese, lemon juice, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
Add the chicken and coat evenly with the marinade. Seal and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, up to 4 hours.
Preheat grill to medium-high heat. Lightly oil the grates to prevent sticking.
Remove chicken from marinade and place on the grill. Cook for 5–7 minutes per side, or until internal temperature reaches 165°F and the chicken is beautifully charred.
Let rest for a few minutes before slicing.
Garnish with chopped parsley and extra Parmesan if desired. Serve warm.
Notes
You can use either chicken breasts or thighs—thighs tend to be more juicy and forgiving.
No grill? Use a grill pan or cast iron skillet on the stovetop, or bake at 425°F for 20–25 minutes.
Leftovers are perfect for salads, wraps, or sandwiches the next day.
