Description

Creamy Garlic Parmesan Chicken Tortellini is your 30-minute comfort food fix! Juicy chicken, tender tortellini, and broccoli are tossed in a rich, cheesy garlic sauce that’s perfect for busy weeknights.


Ingredients

  • 12 oz cheese tortellini (fresh preferred, frozen okay)

  • 2 boneless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces

  • 2 tbsp olive oil

  • 4 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 cup heavy cream

  • ½ cup chicken broth

  • 1 cup Parmesan cheese, freshly grated

  • 2 cups broccoli florets

  • Salt, pepper, and Italian herbs to taste

  • Handful of fresh parsley, chopped


Instructions

  1. Boil Tortellini: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add tortellini and cook until they float. Drain and set aside.

  2. Cook Chicken: Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Season chicken with salt, pepper, and Italian herbs. Sear until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.

  3. Sauté Garlic: In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant (about 30 seconds).

  4. Make Sauce: Pour in heavy cream and chicken broth. Bring to a simmer. Stir in Parmesan cheese until smooth.

  5. Combine: Add chicken, broccoli, and tortellini to the skillet. Toss to coat evenly in the sauce. Heat through for 2–3 minutes.

  6. Garnish & Serve: Sprinkle with chopped parsley and serve hot.

Notes

Steam or blanch broccoli in the pasta water for convenience.
Use rotisserie chicken for a shortcut.
Add red pepper flakes for a spicy twist.
Best served fresh, but leftovers reheat well with a splash of milk.
