Description

This Garlic Parmesan Chicken Bake is an easy, flavor-packed dish made with juicy chicken breasts, buttery garlic, melty parmesan, and Italian herbs. Perfect for busy weeknights or family dinners when you need something hearty, cheesy, and absolutely delicious!


Ingredients

  • 2 or 3 chicken breasts, cut in half horizontally

  • 3 teaspoons paprika, divided

  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

  • 1 teaspoon onion powder

  • 1 teaspoon instant chicken bouillon (optional)

  • 1 or 2 tablespoons lemon juice

  • 4 tablespoons melted unsalted butter

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

  • 3/4 cup freshly grated parmesan

  • 1/2 teaspoon fresh cracked black pepper

  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic (or garlic powder)

  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

  • 1 tablespoon fresh chopped parsley, plus more for garnish

  • 1 teaspoon red chili pepper flakes (optional)


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400ºF (200°C) and position the rack in the center.

  2. Season the chicken cutlets generously with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, lemon juice, instant bouillon (if using), and 1 teaspoon of paprika. Place them in a baking dish.

  3. In a bowl, mix melted butter, olive oil, parmesan, black pepper, minced garlic, remaining 2 teaspoons of paprika, parsley, chili flakes (if using), and Italian seasoning.

  4. Pour the mixture over the chicken, reserving a small amount for serving if desired.

  5. Bake for 15–20 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165ºF.

  6. Serve immediately with your favorite sides and drizzle with extra sauce. Garnish with more parsley if desired.

Notes

Chicken thighs can be used instead of breasts for extra juiciness.
For a low-carb option, serve with cauliflower rice or roasted veggies.
Leftovers are great for wraps, sandwiches, or chopped over salads.
Freshly grated parmesan is best for a gooey, golden finish.
