Description

These Fried Strawberry Cheesecake Sandwiches are golden, crispy, and filled with creamy cheesecake goodness and sweet strawberries. A fast and indulgent dessert or brunch idea that tastes like it came straight from a fair stand—without ever leaving your kitchen.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 slices brioche or challah bread

  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened

  • 2 tbsp powdered sugar (plus more for dusting)

  • ½ cup fresh strawberries, sliced

  • 4 tbsp strawberry jam

  • 2 eggs

  • 2 tbsp milk

  • 2 tbsp butter (for frying)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix softened cream cheese and 2 tablespoons of powdered sugar until smooth and creamy.

  2. Spread the cream cheese mixture onto one side of 4 slices of bread.

  3. Top with sliced strawberries and 1 tablespoon of strawberry jam per sandwich.

  4. Place the remaining slices of bread on top and gently press to seal.

  5. In a shallow dish, whisk together the eggs and milk.

  6. Dip each sandwich into the egg mixture, coating both sides well.

  7. Heat butter in a skillet over medium heat.

  8. Fry each sandwich for 2–3 minutes per side, or until golden brown and crispy.

  9. Remove from pan and let drain on paper towels.

  10. Dust with powdered sugar and serve warm. Enjoy!

Notes

Brioche or challah is best for texture and flavor.
You can substitute jam with preserves or any berry compote.
Make it kid-friendly by cutting into sticks for dipping!
Want extra sweetness? Add a drizzle of honey or chocolate syrup.
