Ingredients
-
4 large (12-inch) flour tortillas
-
4 slices provolone cheese
-
12–14 oz deli-sliced roast beef
-
1 cup French fried onions
-
3 tbsp olive oil
-
1 can beef consommé
-
1 cup water
-
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
-
1 tsp low-sodium soy sauce
-
1 tsp onion powder
-
1 tsp garlic powder
Instructions
-
Preheat the oven to 425°F and line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper.
-
Lay each tortilla flat. Add a slice of provolone, a generous handful of roast beef, and a layer of French fried onions.
-
Roll tightly and brush a little olive oil along the inner edge to help seal.
-
Place seam-side down on the baking sheet and brush the tops with olive oil.
-
Bake for 8–10 minutes, or until golden and the cheese begins to melt.
-
Meanwhile, combine the beef consommé, water, Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, onion powder, and garlic powder in a small saucepan.
-
Bring to a gentle simmer and whisk until smooth.
-
Let the roll ups rest for 2–3 minutes, then slice and serve with hot au jus.
Notes
-
Use freshly sliced roast beef for the juiciest and most tender results.
-
Air fryer option: 375°F for about 6 minutes for an ultra-crispy finish.
-
Add a second slice of cheese if you want them extra melty.
