Description

These French Dip Tortilla Roll Ups are the perfect mix of crispy tortillas, juicy shredded beef, melty cheese, and a rich au jus for dipping. A fast, comforting meal everyone loves.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 large (12-inch) flour tortillas

  • 4 slices provolone cheese

  • 1214 oz deli-sliced roast beef

  • 1 cup French fried onions

  • 3 tbsp olive oil

  • 1 can beef consommé

  • 1 cup water

  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

  • 1 tsp low-sodium soy sauce

  • 1 tsp onion powder

  • 1 tsp garlic powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F and line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper.

  2. Lay each tortilla flat. Add a slice of provolone, a generous handful of roast beef, and a layer of French fried onions.

  3. Roll tightly and brush a little olive oil along the inner edge to help seal.

  4. Place seam-side down on the baking sheet and brush the tops with olive oil.

  5. Bake for 8–10 minutes, or until golden and the cheese begins to melt.

  6. Meanwhile, combine the beef consommé, water, Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, onion powder, and garlic powder in a small saucepan.

  7. Bring to a gentle simmer and whisk until smooth.

  8. Let the roll ups rest for 2–3 minutes, then slice and serve with hot au jus.

Notes

  • Use freshly sliced roast beef for the juiciest and most tender results.

  • Air fryer option: 375°F for about 6 minutes for an ultra-crispy finish.

  • Add a second slice of cheese if you want them extra melty.
