Description

Doritos Chicken Casserole is the ultimate comfort food—cheesy, creamy, and packed with flavor. With crunchy nacho chips, tender chicken, and a creamy, savory filling, it’s a family favorite that’s perfect for weeknight dinners or casual get-togethers.

Ingredients

Scale
  • Cooking spray

  • 1 (14.5 oz) bag nacho cheese-flavored Doritos, crushed

  • 3 cups chopped cooked chicken

  • 2 cups shredded Mexican cheese blend, divided

  • 1 ½ cups salsa

  • 1 (15.25 oz) can corn, drained

  • 1 (10.5 oz) can condensed cream of mushroom soup

  • 1 (10.5 oz) can condensed cream of chicken soup

  • 8 oz sour cream

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly spray a 9×13-inch baking dish with cooking spray.

  2. Spread the crushed Doritos evenly on the bottom of the prepared baking dish.

  3. In a large bowl, mix together the chopped chicken, 1 cup of the shredded cheese, salsa, corn, cream of mushroom soup, cream of chicken soup, and sour cream.

  4. Pour the mixture evenly over the crushed Doritos in the baking dish.

  5. Bake for 20 minutes.

  6. Remove from oven and top with the remaining 1 cup of cheese. Return to oven and bake for an additional 5 minutes, or until cheese is melted and bubbly.

  7. Let it cool slightly, then serve warm.

Notes

  • Swap in rotisserie chicken to save time.

  • Add jalapeños or use spicy salsa for a kick.

  • Garnish with fresh cilantro, parsley, or even green onions for color and freshness.

  • To reheat leftovers, add a sprinkle of fresh chips on top to revive the crunch!
