Description
This Crockpot Chicken Parmesan is your go-to comfort meal for busy nights. Juicy chicken breasts are slow-cooked in rich marinara sauce and topped with melty mozzarella and Parmesan cheese. It’s a hands-off, flavor-packed dinner the whole family will love.
Ingredients
4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
2 cups marinara sauce
1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
1/4 cup Parmesan cheese
1/2 tsp Italian seasoning
Fresh basil for garnish (optional)
Instructions
Place chicken breasts in the bottom of the crockpot.
Pour marinara sauce over the chicken, covering it completely.
Sprinkle Italian seasoning over the top.
Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours or high for 3-4 hours, until chicken is tender and fully cooked.
About 15 minutes before serving, top with mozzarella and Parmesan cheese. Cover again to melt the cheese.
Garnish with fresh basil if desired and serve with pasta, garlic bread, or a side salad.
Notes
Want a crispy topping? Transfer to a baking dish, broil for 2-3 minutes after adding cheese.
Great for meal prep—leftovers stay delicious up to 3 days in the fridge.
Use boneless thighs instead of breasts for a juicier version.
Add more marinara if you love extra saucy dishes!
