Description

Creamy, comforting, and ridiculously easy, Crockpot Angel Chicken is your new weeknight go-to! Just 5 minutes of prep, 8 simple ingredients, and a dreamy garlic-cream sauce over angel hair pasta.


Ingredients

  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts

  • 1 block (8 oz) cream cheese

  • 1/4 cup butter

  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1/2 cup chicken broth

  • 1 packet dry Italian dressing mix

  • 8 oz angel hair pasta

  • Optional: parsley and red pepper flakes for garnish


Instructions

  1. Place chicken breasts in the bottom of the slow cooker. (Use a liner for easy cleanup!)

  2. In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, butter, cream of chicken soup, garlic, chicken broth, and Italian dressing mix. Whisk or use a hand mixer until smooth.

  3. Pour the mixture over the chicken.

  4. Cover and cook on LOW for 6 hours or HIGH for 4 hours.

  5. About 15 minutes before serving, cook angel hair pasta according to package directions.

  6. Shred chicken in the slow cooker and stir into the sauce.

  7. Serve chicken and sauce over pasta. Garnish with parsley and red pepper flakes if desired.

Notes

You can substitute angel hair pasta with egg noodles, mashed potatoes, or white rice.
Leftovers keep well in the fridge for up to 3 days.
Want it a little lighter? Use light cream cheese and low-sodium broth.
