Ingredients

  • 2 cups mashed potatoes (cold or leftover)

  • 1 cup cooked shredded chicken

  • 1/2 cup grated cheddar cheese

  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions

  • 1 egg

  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder

  • 1/2 tsp paprika

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour (for coating)

  • 1 cup breadcrumbs (preferably panko)

  • Oil for frying


Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix mashed potatoes, chicken, cheese, egg, green onions, and seasonings.

  2. Shape into doughnut rings using hands or a cutter.

  3. Coat each doughnut in flour, then breadcrumbs.

  4. Heat oil in a deep pan over medium heat.
