Creamy Oven Baked Chicken Thighs are the ultimate cozy dinner—tender, juicy chicken baked in a rich garlic-parmesan cream sauce. This one-skillet recipe is fast, fuss-free, and family-approved!
Ingredients
For the Chicken:
6 boneless, skinless chicken thighs
2 tbsp unsalted butter
1 tsp Salute seasoning (or poultry seasoning of choice)
Salt & pepper to taste
For the Cream Sauce:
2 tbsp unsalted butter
4 garlic cloves, finely chopped
2 tbsp all-purpose flour
1 cup chicken broth
1 cup heavy whipping cream
½ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese (or Piave)
Salt & pepper to taste
Fresh dill, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 375°F.
Season chicken thighs with seasoning, salt, and pepper on both sides.
Melt 2 tbsp butter in an oven-safe skillet over medium heat. Sear chicken thighs for 2–3 minutes per side until golden. Remove and set aside.
In the same skillet, melt 2 tbsp butter. Add garlic and sauté for 1 minute.
Stir in flour and cook, stirring constantly, for 1 minute.
Slowly pour in chicken broth, stirring until slightly thickened. Add heavy cream and stir well.
Add Parmesan, stir to melt, then taste and adjust salt and pepper.
Return chicken to skillet, spooning sauce over each piece.
Transfer skillet to oven and bake uncovered for 30–35 minutes or until chicken is cooked through.
Garnish with fresh dill and extra cheese if desired. Serve warm.
Notes
Don’t skip the sear—it adds flavor and texture.
Sauce too thick? Add a splash of broth or cream.
Add mushrooms or spinach for extra veggies.
Best served with mashed potatoes, pasta, or crusty bread.
