Description

This Cranberry Whipped Feta Dip is a creamy, sweet-savory holiday appetizer made with whipped feta, homemade cranberry sauce, pistachios, and honey. Fast, festive, and always a crowd-pleaser!

Ingredients

Scale

For the Cranberry Sauce:

  • ½ cup orange juice

  • 1 cup granulated sugar

  • 12 ounces cranberries (fresh or frozen)
Or substitute with 2 cups cranberry sauce

For the Whipped Feta:

  • 1 block (8 ounces) feta cheese

  • ½ cup cream cheese (or Greek yogurt)

  • 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil

Optional Toppings:

  • 2 tablespoons pistachios, chopped

  • 1 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes

  • 1 tablespoon honey

For Serving:

  • Crackers, pita chips, crostini, or fresh veggies

Instructions

  1. Make the cranberry sauce:
Add orange juice, sugar, and cranberries to a saucepan. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer 10 minutes, until most cranberries burst. Mash gently and stir until thickened. Cool 15–20 minutes.

  2. Make the whipped feta:
Add feta, cream cheese, and olive oil to a food processor. Blend until smooth. If too thick, add water 1 teaspoon at a time until creamy.

  3. Assemble:
Spread whipped feta into a bowl and swirl with a spoon. Spoon cooled cranberry sauce on top. Add pistachios, red pepper flakes, and honey if using.

  4. Serve with crackers, crostini, or fresh veggies.

Notes

You can make the cranberry sauce up to 3 days ahead.

Greek yogurt creates a tangier, lighter dip.

Add more red pepper flakes for a spicier kick.
