Description
This festive Cranberry Brie Crescent Wreath is the perfect holiday appetizer—warm, golden, buttery, and filled with sweet cranberries, creamy Brie, and crunchy pecans. Easy to assemble and stunning on any table, it’s a guaranteed crowd-pleaser.
Ingredients
-
6 ounces Brie cheese
-
2 (8-ounce) packages refrigerated crescent rolls
-
2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
-
1 cup canned whole-berry cranberry sauce
-
1/3 cup chopped toasted pecans
-
1 tablespoon water
-
1/2 teaspoon poppy seeds (optional)
Instructions
-
Place the Brie in the freezer for 30 minutes to firm up, then slice thinly and refrigerate until ready to use.
-
Line an extra-large baking sheet with parchment paper and trace a 6-inch circle in the center as a guide.
-
Unroll and separate the crescent triangles. Arrange the first package into a sun shape around the circle, overlapping slightly. Repeat with the second package, filling the spaces between the first set.
-
Spread Dijon mustard in a thin layer over the inner ring of dough. Spoon cranberry sauce on top, then layer Brie slices and sprinkle toasted pecans.
-
Fold each crescent point over the filling and tuck it under the inner ring.
-
Brush the dough with water and sprinkle with poppy seeds if desired.
-
Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 20 minutes, or until the wreath is golden brown.
-
Serve warm or at room temperature.
Notes
Freezing the Brie helps create clean slices for even melting.
Crescent dough is forgiving—patch any tears with your fingertips.
You can assemble the wreath up to 4 hours ahead and bake before serving.
Swap pecans for walnuts or leave the nuts out entirely if preferred.
