Description

These Crack Burgers are juicy, cheesy, and packed with smoky bacon and ranch flavor. Perfect for weeknight dinners or summer grilling, they’re a burger lover’s dream come true!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 ½ lb ground chuck

  • 3 Tbsp sour cream

  • 2 Tbsp ranch dressing mix

  • ⅓ cup cooked and crumbled bacon

  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

  • Hamburger buns

  • Lettuce, tomato, mustard, mayo (for topping)

Instructions

  1. Combine Ingredients: In a large bowl, mix together ground chuck, sour cream, ranch dressing mix, crumbled bacon, and shredded cheddar cheese until just combined. Avoid overmixing to keep burgers tender.

  2. Form Patties: Divide mixture into 6 equal patties. Press a small dimple into the center of each patty to prevent puffing during cooking. Wet hands with cold water if the mixture sticks.

  3. Grill Patties: Preheat your grill, grill pan, or skillet over medium heat. Grill patties to desired doneness:

    • Medium-rare: 130-135°F

    • Medium: 140-145°F

    • Well-done: 160°F

Flip carefully and avoid pressing down on patties while cooking to keep them juicy.

  4. Serve: Place burgers on toasted buns and top with lettuce, tomato, mustard, mayo, or your favorite toppings. Enjoy!

Notes

Try swapping cheddar for pepper jack or Swiss for a different flavor twist.
Toast buns lightly for extra crunch.
Store leftover patties in an airtight container for up to 3 days and reheat gently to keep juicy Great on outdoor grills or indoor grill pans.
