Description
These Cowboy Mushrooms are bold, buttery, and packed with garlic, herbs, and smoky Worcestershire flavor. A quick and savory side dish that pairs with everything from steak to chicken—or even works as a tasty appetizer on its own!
Ingredients
-
1 lb baby bella mushrooms
-
2 tbsp butter
-
3 cloves garlic, minced
-
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
-
1 tbsp soy sauce
-
Freshly cracked black pepper, to taste
-
2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
-
Wipe the mushrooms clean with a damp paper towel. Trim the stems if needed, but keep mushrooms whole.
-
In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds, just until fragrant.
-
Add mushrooms to the skillet. Cook for 7–9 minutes, stirring occasionally, until they release their moisture and start to brown.
-
Pour in Worcestershire sauce and soy sauce. Add freshly cracked black pepper and stir to coat evenly.
-
Let the sauce simmer for 2–3 more minutes until slightly thickened.
-
Finish with chopped fresh parsley and serve hot.
Notes
Don’t rinse mushrooms under water—just wipe them clean to avoid sogginess.
Want a spicy kick? Add a pinch of red pepper flakes with the garlic.
These mushrooms reheat beautifully and can be prepped ahead for busy weeknights or entertaining.
