Description

These Cowboy Mushrooms are bold, buttery, and packed with garlic, herbs, and smoky Worcestershire flavor. A quick and savory side dish that pairs with everything from steak to chicken—or even works as a tasty appetizer on its own!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb baby bella mushrooms

  • 2 tbsp butter

  • 3 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

  • 1 tbsp soy sauce

  • Freshly cracked black pepper, to taste

  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Wipe the mushrooms clean with a damp paper towel. Trim the stems if needed, but keep mushrooms whole.

  2. In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds, just until fragrant.

  3. Add mushrooms to the skillet. Cook for 7–9 minutes, stirring occasionally, until they release their moisture and start to brown.

  4. Pour in Worcestershire sauce and soy sauce. Add freshly cracked black pepper and stir to coat evenly.

  5. Let the sauce simmer for 2–3 more minutes until slightly thickened.

  6. Finish with chopped fresh parsley and serve hot.

Notes

Don’t rinse mushrooms under water—just wipe them clean to avoid sogginess.
Want a spicy kick? Add a pinch of red pepper flakes with the garlic.
These mushrooms reheat beautifully and can be prepped ahead for busy weeknights or entertaining.
