For the Chicken

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

  • Salt and black pepper to taste

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

For the Lemon Butter Garlic Sauce

  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter

  • 4 cloves garlic, minced

  • Zest and juice of 1 lemon

  • ½ cup heavy cream

  • Salt and black pepper to taste

For the Pasta

  • 8 ounces spaghetti (or preferred pasta)

  • 4 ounces burrata cheese, torn into small pieces

  • Fresh basil leaves, for garnish


Instructions

  1. Season and Cook the Chicken:

    • Season chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.

    • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute.

    • Add chicken and cook for 6–8 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Remove and let rest.

  2. Make the Lemon Butter Garlic Sauce:

    • In the same skillet, melt butter and add minced garlic. Sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.

    • Pour in lemon juice and zest, then stir in heavy cream. Simmer 2–3 minutes until slightly thickened. Season with salt and pepper.

  3. Cook the Pasta:

    • Cook spaghetti in salted boiling water according to package directions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

  4. Assemble the Dish:

    • Slice cooked chicken into strips.

    • Toss pasta with lemon butter garlic sauce and sliced chicken until coated.

    • Gently fold in burrata pieces.

  5. Serve:

    • Garnish with fresh basil. Serve immediately while hot and creamy.

Notes

Swap chicken breasts for boneless thighs for juicier results.
Use mozzarella if you can’t find burrata.
Add extra lemon zest for a brighter flavor if desired.
Save some pasta water to loosen the sauce if it’s too thick.
