Ingredients
For the Meat Base:

For the Creamy Cheese Sauce:

½ cup heavy cream

2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese, divided

1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese, divided

1 tablespoon Dijon mustard (or yellow mustard)

¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)

Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste

½ cup extra shredded cheddar

Reserved cooked bacon bits

Instructions

Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.

In a large skillet, cook chopped bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove and drain on paper towels. Reserve 2 tablespoons bacon grease in skillet.

Add ground beef to skillet and cook over medium-high heat until browned. Drain excess fat.

Stir in onion and garlic. Cook 5–7 minutes until softened.

Add Worcestershire sauce, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Stir well.

Mix in ¾ of the cooked bacon. Remove from heat.

In a large bowl, whisk softened cream cheese, sour cream, and heavy cream until smooth.

Stir in mustard, cayenne (if using), salt, and pepper.

Fold in 1½ cups cheddar and ¾ cup Monterey Jack.

Spread beef mixture evenly into prepared baking dish.

Spoon cheese mixture over beef and spread evenly.

Top with remaining cheddar, Monterey Jack, and reserved bacon.
