Description

Cheesy Garlic Ritz Bits Snacks are buttery, crispy, oven-baked cracker bites coated in garlic, parmesan, and sharp cheddar. This easy snack recipe is perfect for parties, movie nights, lunchboxes, or anytime you’re craving a crunchy, cheesy treat that disappears fast.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 box (12.5 oz) Ritz Bits Crackers, Original Flavor

  • 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, melted

  • 2 tablespoons garlic powder

  • 1 tablespoon onion powder

  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley flakes

  • 1/2 teaspoon fine sea salt

  • 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

  • 1/2 cup finely grated Parmesan cheese

  • 1/2 cup finely shredded sharp cheddar cheese

  • 1/4 teaspoon smoked paprika (optional)

  • Pinch of cayenne pepper (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 300°F (150°C). Line a large rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper.

  2. Melt the butter in a microwave-safe bowl or small saucepan until fully liquid.

  3. Mix seasonings into the melted butter: garlic powder, onion powder, parsley, salt, black pepper, smoked paprika (if using), and cayenne (if using). Stir well.

  4. Add cheeses (Parmesan and cheddar) into the butter mixture and stir to combine. The mixture will be thick.

  5. Coat crackers: Place Ritz Bits in a large bowl. Pour the cheesy garlic butter mixture over them and gently toss until evenly coated.

  6. Spread evenly in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet. Do not overcrowd.

  7. Bake for 15–20 minutes, stirring halfway through, until golden and fragrant.

  8. Cool completely on the baking sheet for 15–20 minutes to allow them to crisp up fully.

  9. Break apart clusters and serve.

Notes

Let the crackers cool completely for maximum crunch.

Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 5–7 days.

Re-crisp in a 300°F oven for 5 minutes if needed.

For extra garlic flavor, add an additional 1/2 tablespoon garlic powder.

These make a great party snack or homemade edible gift.
