- ½ cup dill pickles, thinly sliced
- 2 tablespoons ketchup
- 2 tablespoons mustard
- ¼ cup garlic aioli
- ½ cup baby arugula
Instructions
- Preheat Oven
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line two baking sheets with parchment paper. - Prepare Flatbreads
Place flatbreads on baking sheets. Brush edges with melted butter and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
Par-bake for 10 minutes to crisp the crust. - Cook the Beef
In a skillet over medium-high heat, cook ground beef until browned, breaking it apart with a spatula.
Season with salt and pepper. Drain excess grease. - Add American Cheese
Add sliced American cheese to the beef and stir until melted and fully combined. - Assemble Flatbreads
Drizzle ketchup and mustard in a zigzag pattern over each flatbread.
Sprinkle mozzarella evenly over the top.
Add the cheesy ground beef mixture.
Top with sliced red onion and tomatoes. - Bake
Bake for 12–15 minutes, until cheese is melted and bubbly and crust is golden brown. - Garnish & Serve
Remove from oven and top with pickles, garlic aioli, and baby arugula.
Slice into wedges and serve immediately.
Notes
- Par-baking helps prevent a soggy center—don’t skip this step.
- Freshly grated mozzarella melts smoother than pre-shredded.
- Swap ground beef for ground turkey or chicken if preferred.
- Reheat leftovers in the oven or air fryer to maintain crispiness.
- Customize with bacon, jalapeños, or extra cheese for a loaded version.
