Description

Cheeseburger Flatbreads are a quick and easy weeknight dinner made with crispy flatbreads topped with seasoned ground beef, melty cheese, pickles, tomatoes, and a classic ketchup-mustard drizzle. All the flavors of a cheeseburger in sliceable, shareable form—ready in under 30 minutes!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 store-bought stone fire flatbreads
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • 4 slices American cheese
  • 1 cup whole milk mozzarella cheese, freshly grated
  • 12 Roma tomatoes, sliced
  • ½ small red onion, thinly sliced
  • ½ cup dill pickles, thinly sliced
  • 2 tablespoons ketchup
  • 2 tablespoons mustard
  • ¼ cup garlic aioli
  • ½ cup baby arugula

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. Prepare Flatbreads
Place flatbreads on baking sheets. Brush edges with melted butter and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
Par-bake for 10 minutes to crisp the crust.
  3. Cook the Beef
In a skillet over medium-high heat, cook ground beef until browned, breaking it apart with a spatula.
Season with salt and pepper. Drain excess grease.
  4. Add American Cheese
Add sliced American cheese to the beef and stir until melted and fully combined.
  5. Assemble Flatbreads
Drizzle ketchup and mustard in a zigzag pattern over each flatbread.
Sprinkle mozzarella evenly over the top.
Add the cheesy ground beef mixture.
Top with sliced red onion and tomatoes.
  6. Bake
Bake for 12–15 minutes, until cheese is melted and bubbly and crust is golden brown.
  7. Garnish & Serve
Remove from oven and top with pickles, garlic aioli, and baby arugula.
Slice into wedges and serve immediately.

Notes

  • Par-baking helps prevent a soggy center—don’t skip this step.
  • Freshly grated mozzarella melts smoother than pre-shredded.
  • Swap ground beef for ground turkey or chicken if preferred.
  • Reheat leftovers in the oven or air fryer to maintain crispiness.
  • Customize with bacon, jalapeños, or extra cheese for a loaded version.
