Cajun Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo is the perfect blend of creamy, cheesy Alfredo sauce and bold, spicy Cajun-seasoned chicken. It’s a comforting, flavorful dish that feels restaurant-worthy but comes together easily at home!
Ingredients
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning (adjust to taste)
2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
12 oz fettuccine pasta
3 tablespoons unsalted butter
4 cloves garlic, minced
1½ cups heavy cream
1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
Salt & freshly cracked black pepper, to taste
½ cup diced tomatoes or bell peppers (optional)
Fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
Cook the Pasta: Boil salted water and cook fettuccine until al dente (9–11 mins). Drain and reserve ½ cup pasta water.
Season the Chicken: Toss chicken pieces in Cajun seasoning.
Sear the Chicken: Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high. Cook chicken 4–5 minutes, flipping halfway, until browned and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
Make the Alfredo Sauce: In the same skillet, melt butter. Add garlic and sauté for 30 seconds. Pour in heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer.
Add Cheese: Slowly whisk in Parmesan until smooth. Season with salt and pepper. Thin with pasta water if needed.
Combine: Return chicken to skillet, add fettuccine, and toss to coat. Let simmer 1–2 minutes to meld flavors.
Serve: Optional—stir in diced tomatoes or peppers, garnish with parsley, and serve hot!
Notes
Use a homemade Cajun seasoning blend if needed (paprika, garlic powder, cayenne, thyme, etc.).
Penne or linguine can be substituted for fettuccine.
To reduce calories, swap heavy cream with half-and-half (results may vary in creaminess).
