Description

This creamy and fresh Bruschetta Dip layers whipped feta and cream cheese with juicy marinated tomatoes, basil, garlic, and olive oil. It’s the perfect crowd-pleasing appetizer for parties, holidays, and casual snacking—easy, vibrant, and full of flavor.

Ingredients

Scale

For the Bruschetta

  • 4 Roma tomatoes, diced

  • 1/4 cup basil, finely chopped

  • 1 garlic clove, minced

  • 1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil

  • 12 tsp balsamic vinegar

  • Salt, to taste

For the Cheese Mixture

  • 8 oz feta cheese, crumbled

  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened

  • 1/2 cup sour cream

  • 1 garlic clove, minced

  • 1 tbsp lemon juice

  • 1 tbsp olive oil

  • Salt, to taste

For Garnish

  • Fresh basil, chopped

  • Red pepper flakes

  • Freshly grated Parmesan

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Bruschetta:
In a bowl, combine diced Roma tomatoes, chopped basil, minced garlic, olive oil, balsamic vinegar, and a pinch of salt. Toss gently and let sit for 10 minutes to marinate.

  2. Make the Cheese Base:
In a food processor, blend feta, softened cream cheese, sour cream, garlic, lemon juice, and olive oil for 3–4 minutes until smooth. Taste and add salt if needed.

  3. Assemble the Dip:
Spread the creamy cheese mixture into a shallow serving dish. Spoon the marinated tomatoes over the top. Finish with fresh basil, red pepper flakes, and grated Parmesan. Serve with toasted baguette slices, crackers, or veggies.

Notes

  • For less moisture, remove tomato seeds before dicing.

  • Greek yogurt can replace sour cream for a lighter version.

  • Prepare components ahead and assemble right before serving.

  • Perfect with crostini, pita chips, naan, or fresh vegetables.
