Description

This warm Boursin Dip with Crostini is rich, creamy, and baked until golden and bubbly. An easy appetizer made for parties, holidays, and cozy nights in.

For the Warm Boursin Dip

  • 1 wheel (5.2 oz / 150 g) Garlic & Fine Herbs Boursin cheese

  • 8 oz (226 g) cream cheese, softened

  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese, divided

  • ½ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese

  • ¼ cup mayonnaise

  • 2 tablespoons dry white wine (optional)

  • 1 garlic clove, minced

  • ¼ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

For the Crostini

  • 1 baguette, sliced into ½-inch rounds

  • 34 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil

  • Fine sea salt, to taste

  • Black pepper, to taste

  • Optional: garlic powder or dried Italian herbs


Instructions

Prepare the Crostini

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

  2. Arrange baguette slices on a baking sheet in a single layer.

  3. Brush both sides lightly with olive oil.

  4. Season with salt, pepper, and optional garlic powder.

  5. Bake for 10–15 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and crisp. Set aside.

Make the Boursin Dip

  1. Lightly grease a small oven-safe baking dish.

  2. In a mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese and Boursin cheese until smooth.

  3. Stir in ½ cup mozzarella, Parmesan, mayonnaise, white wine (if using), garlic, and black pepper.

  4. Spread mixture evenly into the prepared dish.

  5. Sprinkle remaining mozzarella over the top.

  6. Bake for 20–25 minutes, until hot and bubbly with lightly golden edges.

  7. Rest for 5–10 minutes before serving.

 

Serve warm with crostini.

Notes

Make ahead: Assemble the dip up to 24 hours in advance and bake before serving.

Wine substitute: Milk or chicken broth works well.

Best texture: Always use room-temperature cream cheese to avoid lumps.
