- 6–8 ounces brie cheese, cut into small cubes
- 1/3 cup blueberry preserves or fresh blueberries
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 tablespoon finely chopped walnuts or pecans (optional)
- 1 teaspoon lemon zest (optional)
- Pinch of sea salt
- Fresh thyme or parsley, for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Slice jalapeños in half lengthwise and remove seeds and membranes (leave a few seeds for extra heat if desired).
- Arrange jalapeño halves cut-side up on the prepared baking sheet.
- Place a cube of brie inside each jalapeño cavity.
- Spoon a small amount of blueberry preserves (or a few fresh blueberries) over the brie.
- Drizzle lightly with honey. Sprinkle with chopped nuts, lemon zest, and a pinch of sea salt if using.
- Bake for 10–12 minutes, until jalapeños are slightly softened and brie is melted.
- Garnish with fresh thyme or parsley and serve warm.
Notes
- For milder poppers, remove all seeds and membranes.
- Refrigerate brie for 10–15 minutes before cubing for easier cutting.
- These can be assembled up to 24 hours ahead and baked just before serving.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days and reheat in the oven or air fryer.
