Description
Beef and Rotini in Garlic Parmesan Sauce is pure comfort food! Tender ground beef mingles in a creamy garlic-Parmesan sauce, coating every spiral of rotini for a hearty, satisfying meal perfect for busy weeknights.
Ingredients
8 oz rotini pasta
1 lb ground beef
2 tablespoons olive oil
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup heavy cream
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
Salt and pepper, to taste
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
Cook Pasta: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook rotini according to package directions until al dente. Reserve ½ cup of pasta water, then drain and set aside.
Cook Beef: Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add ground beef and cook, breaking it apart, for 5-7 minutes until browned and cooked through.
Add Garlic: Stir in minced garlic and cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant. Season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
Make Sauce: Pour in heavy cream, stirring well. Bring to a gentle simmer. Gradually add grated Parmesan, stirring until melted and smooth. If sauce is too thick, add a splash of reserved pasta water until desired consistency.
Combine: Add cooked rotini to the skillet and toss to coat in the sauce.
Serve: Garnish with chopped fresh parsley and enjoy immediately!
Notes
Freshly grated Parmesan melts better than pre-grated varieties for a smoother sauce.
Add veggies like spinach or peas for extra nutrition.
Adjust thickness of the sauce with reserved pasta water as needed.
For a touch of heat, sprinkle in red pepper flakes.
