Description

These Bang Bang Ground Turkey Rice Bowls are a flavorful, veggie-packed weeknight dinner featuring tender ground turkey, fluffy jasmine rice, and a creamy, spicy bang bang sauce. Quick, vibrant, and family-friendly—perfect for busy nights.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground turkey

  • 3 cups cooked jasmine rice

  • ½ cup mayonnaise

  • ¼ cup sweet chili sauce

  • 12 tbsp sriracha sauce (to taste)

  • 1 tbsp lime juice

  • 2 tbsp soy sauce

  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced

  • 1 cup carrots, sliced or shredded

  • 2 cups broccoli florets

  • 1 tbsp olive oil

  • Salt and pepper, to taste

  • 3 green onions, sliced

  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds

Instructions

  1. Cook the jasmine rice according to package instructions until fluffy.

  2. In a small bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, sriracha, and lime juice. Set aside.

  3. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

  4. Add the ground turkey and cook, breaking it apart, until browned and no longer pink.

  5. Stir in the soy sauce, salt, and pepper.

  6. Add the red bell pepper, carrots, and broccoli. Cook 5–7 minutes until tender-crisp.

  7. Remove from heat and mix in half the bang bang sauce.

  8. Add cooked rice to bowls.

  9. Top each bowl with the turkey-veggie mixture.

  10. Drizzle with the remaining bang bang sauce.

  11. Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds. Serve warm.

Notes

Reduce sriracha for a milder sauce or add more for extra heat.
Swap jasmine rice for cauliflower rice, brown rice, or quinoa.
Keep sauce separate if using for meal prep to avoid soggy rice.
