- 400g ziti pasta ๐
- 500g boneless, skinless chicken breast, diced ๐
- 2 cups marinara sauce ๐
- 1 cup ricotta cheese ๐ง
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese ๐ง
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese ๐ง
- 2 cloves garlic, minced ๐ง
- 1 tablespoon olive oil ๐ซ
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning ๐ฟ
- Salt and pepper, to taste ๐ง
- Fresh basil or parsley, chopped (for garnish) ๐ฟ
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375ยฐF (190ยฐC). Cook ziti pasta to al dente and set aside.
- Sautรฉ garlic in olive oil, add chicken, season, and cook until done. Stir in marinara sauce.
- Combine pasta, chicken mixture, and ricotta cheese in a bowl. Layer half in a baking dish, top with mozzarella and Parmesan. Repeat.
- Cover with foil, bake for 20 minutes. Uncover and bake 10 minutes more. Broil for 2-3 minutes if desired.
- Let rest, garnish with basil or parsley, and serve.
