  • 400g ziti pasta 🍝
  • 500g boneless, skinless chicken breast, diced 🍗
  • 2 cups marinara sauce 🍅
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese 🧀
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese 🧀
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese 🧀
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced 🧄
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil 🫒
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning 🌿
  • Salt and pepper, to taste 🧂
  • Fresh basil or parsley, chopped (for garnish) 🌿

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Cook ziti pasta to al dente and set aside.
  • Sauté garlic in olive oil, add chicken, season, and cook until done. Stir in marinara sauce.
  • Combine pasta, chicken mixture, and ricotta cheese in a bowl. Layer half in a baking dish, top with mozzarella and Parmesan. Repeat.
  • Cover with foil, bake for 20 minutes. Uncover and bake 10 minutes more. Broil for 2-3 minutes if desired.
  • Let rest, garnish with basil or parsley, and serve.
